In the golden years of goldsmithing, I had the honour of attending one of the world’s most famous Art Institutes in this field. My classmates came from all over the world. This institute was Istituto d’Arte Benvenuto Cellini in honour of the famous Italian goldsmith of the 1500s. I learned goldsmith technology, real-life drawing, in which I was very good, and the techniques of goldsmithing, embossing, chiselling and embedding. Also, sculpture on wax and clay. These were pivotal years for my future growth, and in the future, I will be able to translate the original manual techniques to digital.
